Crochet hook: 5 mm and 4 mm (US sizes
H and G)
Approx. size: 32 x 20 cm (12.5 x 7.5

Materials: Pins, stuffing, needle, safety
eyes 18 mm, stitch marker
Yarn: Baby Snuggle Solid
Panther (#09) – 1 skein
Cream (#02) – 1 skein

Abbreviations:
ch – chain stitch
sc – single crochet
1 inc – work 2 sts in same st
1 dec – work 2 sts together
sl st – slip stitch

 

Tip!

You are going to crochet in a continuous spiral, do not join the rounds.
Use a stitch marker or safety pin to keep track of where the round begins.
A wooden chopstick is perfect to use to get the piece thoroughly stuffed.

EYES (make 2)

Using Rainbow Cotton 8/8 in Black and a 4 mm hook
Ch 4
Rnd 1: start in the 2nd ch from the hook, 2 sc, 3 sc in the same st, continue on the other side
of the chain row, 2 sc (7)
Rnd 2: 1 inc, 1 sc, [3 sc in the same st] x3, 2 sc (14)
Rnd 3: 1 inc, 4 sc, [1 inc] x5, 4 sc (20)
Finish with 1 sl st
Cut yarn but leave a long tail for sewing
Place an 18 mm safety eye in each eyepiece. Do NOT attach the backpiece of the safety eye
yet.

Sew on the nose and embroider a mouth.
