Assembly
With a long piece of spare grey Touch of Alpaca yarn, attach head to security blanket.
I began by identifying where the head was centered on the blanket, around Rows 6-8 of the head. Make sure the face is straight, and start stitching.
I like to sew up through the wrong side of the security blanket around Round 1 with a running stitch, sewing through any secure stitches I can find on the head, always rechecking my positioning.
Once you’ve stitched around Round 1 of the security blanket, expand the stitching to Round 2. Repeat the same process working through each stitch in Round 2 of the security blanket and affixing it to the head. Always check the placement as you go.
Weave ends securely.
To attach the arms, nestle them right up to where the head meets the security blanket, Round 3. Sew with a whip stitch to Round 3 of the security blanket.
